National Capital Band Gallery

This five-day "mini-tour" of three Southern states (Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia) was conducted in October, 2001. Cities visited included Chattanooga, Birmingham, and Atlanta. The special guest for the tour was Swedish cornet virtuoso Ove Ericsson.

The National Capital Band, under the direction of Bandmaster James B. Anderson, journeyed down Interstate 95 to Richmond, the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia, on 6 November 2004, for a weekend engagement.

The NCB was a featured ensemble at the Great American Brass Band Festival, held in Danville, KY, 10 - 12 June 2005.

Held at Camp Happyland in February 2006, the Music Councils featured the Youth Band, Chorus, Timbrels and Mime Troupe from the Pendel Division.

The band visited the Norfolk area on the weekend of 11-12 November 2006. These photos were taken at the Saturday evening festival, held at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach.
